Charming Historic Condo

Hi Brandon, as you know the construction next door completely ruined our stay. They didn’t finish until 6 pm on Friday and were back hammering and drilling at 8:00 AM on Saturday directly outside of our window. I don’t know how it’s even justified to rent this u it out under these circumstances. I appreciate the refund on two nights but I truly hope you won’t rent this out to more guests until construction is done. On a positive note, it’s a nice unit and the bakery and restaurant below are a huge bonus. The unit could use a few touches that would help (I noticed others mentioned this too): The bathroom desperately needs shelving for toiletries and a knob added to the cabinet under the sink so you don’t rake your knuckles on the door molding when trying to open it. Last thing, black out curtains in the bedroom would be great. The slanted floors are a little surprise but kind of more funny than troubling.

Advance notice of construction would have been appreciated. Positive: Location and parking Negative: The surprise of the early morning construction noise outside the bedroom window . This 4 days of our stay. The bathroom could use a better sink/countertop or shelves for toiletries. We had to use the windowsills .

Such a wonderful space. Updated unit absolutely great location. Really easy to access from the highway. Walkable to some great restaurants, coffee and downtown. The hosts communicated clearly. Zero issues. Would absolutely stay here again.
