Charming Condo 8 in Historic King James

Lovely retreat in Asheville Positive: Stayed here with a friend while visiting Asheville. The location is great, close to downtown and right above a bakery and restaurant! Nice amenities, good temperature control and a lovely little balcony. Nice king beds! Even came with shampoo, starter coffee and filters. We are in our 60s and the steps gave us a workout. Negative: A full-length mirror would be a nice addition. Also, the walls are pretty thin. While most of the time it seemed we were alone in the building, one morning we could hear someone singing in a bathtub as if they were in the room with us. Nice voice though. :)

Great location! Loved the bakery down below and easy walk to Trader Joe’s.

Great location, convenient to have bakery and restaurant below the unit. Would stay again! Positive: Location was great! Convenient to have 2 King size beds and 2 bathrooms. Great to have City Bakery in the building for coffee and breakfast! Clean condo with cute decide! Negative: Bed in master bedroom sloped to the edge of bed on left side and squeaked every time you moved in bed. I would suggest hanging a full length mirror or at least a mirror to put on make up in the 2 bedrooms since the sinks are tiny with no space to put on make up or sit toiletries. Pack light because the stairs up to 3rd floor are no joke!
