Charming Condo 2 in Historic King James

Great location. Easy parking. Easy check-in and check out.The space is much smaller than it appears in the photos. Furniture blocks the doors from opening all the way. You cannot walk around the bed. Internet was spotty, so TVs did not work. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work throughout the trip but luckily it was cool enough to just open the windows and listen to the backhoes rev their engines and beep beginning at 6:30 AM everyday. But it was peaceful and quiet at night.

Positive: This was a very convenient place to stay. It was clean and comfortable, and allowed multiple friend groups to stay in the same building. Negative: If you have four adults, I don't think I would recommend staying in unit 2. When the pull out sofa is out, there isn't any room in the living room. The bathroom is very small with a tiny vanity. The four of us were here for a friend's wedding and the tight space made it a bit difficult for all of us to get ready. The only mirrors are in the bathroom (one over the sink and one small one over the toilet). It would help if there was a full length mirror somewhere else in the unit. This would have been no problem with two adults, and we did find the place comfortable and clean.

Nothing fancy but good for us as we don’t spend a lot of time at the VRBO

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, updated and very comfortable. The location is fantastic. Close to downtown and Montford. The bakery below is awesome!
