Amazing Town Mountain Getaway

Wonderful location, responsive host, and seamless check-in, and check out. The property is located in a wonderful neighborhood, ideal for walking and seeing bears.

I would describe my stay as less than. I stayed 8 nights. There was a welcome package of 5 coffee filters, 4 dishwasher pods, and 3 laundry pods. When I requested additional basics, I was told that they provide a starter kit and no more. I had to go buy coffee filters and dishwasher soap. Parking was another challenge. My son came over to visit for a couple nights. I had to go back to the airport and get a compact car so we could barely fit his minivan and my compact car in the very limited parking space out front. Prior to his visit I contacted the rental company and they told me there was space for one car. They told me I'd have to pay for parking in a garage in Asheville. I'd call the furniture inexpensive and worn. The wall decor spartan. The view of the mountains was very limited by the trees that have grown up so high they block what once was probably a good view. I would not recommend this property.

Lovely property! Beautiful views, great location, clean, spacious for 4 people. I’d stay here again! Communication was also good.

Positive: Nice, well kept modern home with a nice view. Negative: The shower controls and no nonslip strips in the shower. Parking was very small . Only room for one vehicle.

We love this cozy home. It’s a beautiful setting but minutes from great restaurants!
